Season 9: Alt for Norge

Sometimes something comes along and changes the way you feel about everything. My experience on Alt for Norge: Season 9 was like that for me. I found a profound connection to my ancestor’s homeland and in doing so, reconnected with myself.

Alt for Norge is a multi Award-Winning Reality TV series in Norway. The concept brings Americans with Norwegian decent to Norway for the first time, to learn about the history, heritage and culture and compete against each other for a chance to meet their living Norwegian relatives, whom they have never met.

I made it through 6 episodes, but didn’t win. I did get to connect with my family when I returned to Norway after the show aired in October of 2018.
